I'm a Bioinformatician. My specialization includes computational genomics and Bioinformatics. Currently my postdoc is studying the arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal genomes which are beneficial to plants and promote the growth of plants.  As a side project, I  also work with industrial collaboration on Echinacea  plant genome, which is medicinally important.

Research Interests

Fungal pathogens, Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, genomic tools, visualization tools, plant genomics, computational genomics

I have my bachelors in Bioinformatics. During my B.Sc I studied database development using MySQL and html. I have masters in Bioinformatics which includes studying protein folding and RNA secondary structures. I have my PhD in Biological sciences with a specialization of Bioinformatics and computational genomics. My work was focusing on developing the pipelines and tools for genome assembly. I exclusively worked on oomycetes genomics using long reads.
